Mette Mygland (born 1959) is an audacious artist exploring the provocative truth of the female body in her paintings, drawings, and installations. Her art delves into pain, taboos, and human vulnerability through powerful imagery of childbirth and confronting female physicality. She started her artistic journey at 46 and has exhibited in solo and group shows, including the opening exhibition of the National Museum in Norway.
